Visitor Accessibility

Our website is purposefully designed to be accessible to visitors with all abilities. We've taken great care to be sure our design and development practices comply with the most inclusive accessibility current standards for websites. We also provide a site that displays cleanly on smartphones, tablet devices, and screen readers for the visually impaired.

The following links provide validators for each of the standards with which we measured our site's ease of use. (You will need to enter the URL of this site,, by hand before running the Sec. 508 and WCAG validator.)

Sec. 508 / WCAG. Section 508 is a US Government regulatory framework of standards and best practices ensuring Federal agencies' electronic and information technology be accessible to people with disabilities. Our adherence to this standard is voluntary.

You can use the same validator link to test our adherence to WCAG. WCAG is part of a series of accessibility guidelines established by The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), an international community that develops open standards to ensure the long-term growth and accessibility of the Web for all users.

XHTML/CSS. XHTML and CSS together form the structural code 'under the hood' of all web browsers and web pages. Well-formed and fully-validating code is crucial to ensuring that content displays correctly to as broad a range as possible of browsers and other display devices.
