HIPAA Update

Failure to uphold the privacy rights of your clients is not only a breach of ethical practice, but it may be a violation of state and federal statutes.  Social workers and others in direct practice, as well as their supervisors, must understand the HIPAA rules and regulations to most effectively serve their clients and protect their organizations.  This program will review the current laws, updates in the law that affect practice, and suggest ways to structure your agency to best avoid violations.
