Paralegal Christy A. Zeyer, an OSBA Certified Paralegal and Ohio Notary Public, works in the Estate, Trust and Guardianship Administration practice areas. She earned a Paralegal Certificate from Notre Dame College of Ohio and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Bowling Green State University. She has worked as a Paralegal for 15 years, including employment in the states of Florida and Ohio. Prior to her work as a Paralegal, Christy was a Caseworker/Coordinator for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio and a Deputy Clerk with the Lake County Common Pleas Clerk of Courts. She is a Paralegal Associate Member of the Ohio State and Lake County Bar Associations and a Paralegal Member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Christy is active in the Cleveland Association of Paralegals, Inc. (CAP), serving as the Board Advisor (2012 – 2013), President (2010 – 2012), Website Coordinator (2010 – 2014), Secretary/Parliamentarian (2009 – 2010), and Probate Committee Co-Coordinator (2008 – 2010).
In addition, she created and is the moderator for the CAP group pages on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter (@CAPOhio). Christy is also a member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA), a member of the Ursuline College Paralegal Alumnae Mentoring Board. She is the Web Master, Facebook and Twitter moderator for the Willoughby-Eastlake Academic Boosters (pka WEAGT) (Twitter: @WEAcademicBstrs and @WEZenith). Christy is an alumnus of Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Psi Chapter, and Facebook moderator for the Alpha Omicron Pi Alumnae Chapter, Cleveland – East. She was an instructor for two sections of the Institute for Paralegal Education (IPE) course, A Paralegal’s Guide – The Probate Process from Start to Finish. She also served as an assistant instructor for the Tri-C Legal Technology class regarding practice management software Abacus and Tabs 3.
Christy and her family live in Cleveland, OH and enjoy camping and cheering on Cleveland sports teams.
