National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week is May 6 through May 12. You can find year-round educational seminars near you by visiting the Child Mind Institute website. A child’s mental health may be affected by stress. Some stress can be beneficial, but if you are concerned that your child is too stressed, you may encourage him or her to take the stress-o-meter quiz offered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
