Social Work Ethics: What You Need to Know and Why (1 CE – Meets ethics requirements)

On Behalf of | Dec 18, 2013 | Firm News

Social workers and other health care professionals are bound by the rules of their respective licensing boards to follow a prescribed set of ethical standards. One’s own personal values influence how these standards are interpreted and acted upon when faced with an ethical dilemma. This session will review the NASW code of Ethics and discuss confounding factors, such as boundaries and undue influence.

The class will also detail some of the actual sanctins that have been imposed on Ohio social workers by the CSWMFT Board and how to “do it right.”
